Making the invisible, visible

Artist. Facilitator. Advocate.
I create brave spaces where faith, art, and justice collide.

  • I have the privilege of working with populations of diverse and often underrepresented students in higher ed. In today's highly polarized context, there are few individuals that I fully trust like Sunia, whose rare combination of cultural intelligence, creativity, and compassion work seamlessly together to provide safe and inviting contexts for people to engage. She is a masterful storyteller, facilitator, visual artist, and musician and I relish every opportunity I get to utilize her talents and presence in my programming.

  • Sunia is a transformative coach who excels at guiding others toward a deeper understanding of themselves. Through her insightful approach, she helps individuals discover their true purpose and navigate the challenging aspects of their souls. Sunia specializes in revealing things that often stay hidden. It’s through that uncovering where true growth occurs.

  • To be in community with each other brings a kind of healing that cannot be found elsewhere. Sunia understands this to a degree very few can. Because of her wise and brilliant leadership, an exceptional guiding team has created a unique space for Korean adoptee women to find this healing with each other. Sunia brings the depth of care, nuance and thoughtfulness that is necessary to hold such a community together.

  • Adoption made me lose more than just my family, my language, my culture and my country. I lost my sense of self…Sunia’s guidance and the support of our cohort gave me a new language and understanding to help me identify those moments when I am acting from my true self and how to help those parts that I no longer need. It is a wholly new way to exist.
